80's

In the 1980's, the company became GLA: Gentile Lichter Associates. Throughout the years, Bill and Gil represented many brands together such as Stanley Roberts, Acrylic Plastics, Kenco, Fujiware, and Krups.  In 1983, they began to expand their sales team, bringing on Doug Zukauskas who retired in 2023 after celebrating 40 years with GLA. The GLA brand portfolio continued to expand with many named brands including major labels such as Brita and Clorox. In 1989, Steve Lichter joined the company after graduating from Penn State University. He worked with accounts such as Clover, Strawbridges and Clothier, Kitchen Kapers, and Burlington Coat Factory.

90's

In the 90's, Steve took GLA into a new era by building the business at QVC. In 1993, the company continued to expand and Jeff Lichter joined the company selling to gourmet retailers, running finances, bringing the company up to speed on the new business tech and IT, and working on QVC accounts as the business started to explode.  By the mid 90’s, GLA welcomed Ed Scaduto who worked for GLA for 20+ years
